I’ve known Shaughn for a few years and when he texted asking if I was still taking photos I immediately knew what it was for – a surprise proposal for his girlfriend!

Shaughn had a whole plan of how he wanted this to go down before he even brought me in on it and it was perfect. For being one of the first nice days in May this year, the top of the Monona Terrace was strangely empty, but it made the plan work even better.
